How to install LynkSPhere

A wireless, step-by-step guide — from creating your account to installing your first app. Choose whether you install with an Android phone or a Windows PC.

Before you start

Installation

Step by step

Pick your installer device — the steps below adapt automatically.

Account

Create your account & activate your license

Create an account with your email and a password and choose your plan.

  1. Confirm your email address via the link we send you.
  2. Complete the payment — WhatsApp, Telegram or the contact form.
  3. We activate your license. You can now sign in to the installer.
You don't need your VIN to register — it's linked to your license during installation.
Car

Make sure ADB is enabled on the head unit

The installer talks to your car via wireless ADB on port 5555. On most supported Flyme Auto cars this is already open.

If the installer later reports No vehicle with open ADB port found, ADB is probably closed on your car — contact us and we'll help you with your specific model.

Network

Put the car and your phone on the same Wi-Fi

Recommended: turn on the car's hotspot and connect your phone to it.

Alternative: turn on your phone's hotspot and connect the car to it — the installer checks hotspot clients too.

Turn off VPNs and mobile-data-only modes while installing — they can hide the car from the network scan.
Installer

Download & open the installer

  1. Download the Android installer (APK) on your phone.
  2. Open the file. If Android asks, allow Install unknown apps for your browser or file manager.
  3. Launch LynkStore Installer.
Sign in

Sign in with your LynkSPhere account

Enter the username and password of your account and tap Sign in.

Then choose Vehicle installer. (Phone apps gives you companion apps for your phone — handy later.)

Connect

Find your car & connect

The installer searches automatically — gateway, network devices, hotspot clients and a full network scan. Tap Find vehicle to search again, then Connect.

Not found? Enter the car's IP address manually (port 5555).

Install

Tap “Install LynkStore”

Tap Install LynkStore and keep the car on. The installer will:

  • download the latest LynkSPhere store version,
  • install it for the driver and passenger user,
  • grant the required permissions,
  • read and bind your VIN to your license,
  • and sign you in on the car automatically.
Done when the log shows Installation complete. If the VIN can't be read, you'll be asked to type it in — 17 characters.

In the car

First start

LynkSPhere is now on your head unit. Here's how to get the most out of the first five minutes.

  1. Open LynkSPhere Suite on the head unit.
  2. Allow the permissions requested on first start.
  3. Check Settings — your license should show Active.
  4. Go to Apps, tap Refresh apps and install what you need.
  5. For LynkSPhere apps (Launcher, HUD, Maps…) special permissions are set automatically. If something doesn't start, open Permissions → Set special permissions.

Troubleshooting

Something not working?

The most common messages from the installer and the store — and what to do.

No vehicle with open ADB port found

Make sure your installer device and the car are really on the same Wi-Fi, VPN is off and the head unit is awake. Tap Find vehicle again.

Still nothing? Enter the car's IP manually with port 5555. If that fails too, ADB is closed on the head unit — contact us with your model.

Pairing failed

Pairing is optional and only needed on head units that use Android's wireless-debugging pairing. Check that IP, pairing port and the 6-digit pairing code match what the car shows — the code changes every time the dialog is opened.

VIN could not be read

No problem — enter the 17-character VIN manually when asked. You'll find it in the car's vehicle information screen, on your registration document or at the base of the windscreen.

Store download failed / license not active

The store can only be downloaded with an active license. Check that payment was confirmed and your account was activated, then sign out and sign in again.

Session expired

Sign in again in the installer (or in LynkSPhere Suite → Settings on the car).

Catalog in the car is empty

Open Settings and tap Check License. Once it shows Active, go back to Apps and tap Refresh apps. The car needs an internet connection for the catalog.

An app installed but won't start or show its overlay

Open Permissions in LynkSPhere Suite and tap Set special permissions. This grants overlay, accessibility and notification access for the LynkSPhere apps. For the HUD, use Settings → Restart LynkSPhere HUD.

I want to remove LynkSPhere again

Connect with the installer as described above and tap Uninstall LynkStore. It's removed for all users on the head unit.

Tips & tricks

Get more out of LynkSPhere

Queue your installs

Tap Install on several apps — they land in the Queue and up to three install in parallel.

Apps for the passenger

Install an app on the driver display first, then use Install on passenger or Install on rear screen.

Launch on any display

The Display tab starts any installed app on the driver or passenger screen — optionally in fullscreen.

Send destinations from your phone

Sign in with the same account on phone and car. Incoming places show up in Location — open them in Lynk Maps, Google Maps, Waze or Yandex, or save them for later.

HUD on your terms

Turn the LynkSPhere HUD on or off and restart it from Settings. Fine-tune the overlay in HUD Settings.

Free up memory

Settings → Kill user background apps stops apps running in the background. Your launcher keeps running.

Keep the store current

Settings → AppStore Update → Check for updates installs new store versions right in the car — no installer needed.

Force a clean reinstall

An app acting up? Triple-tap Install to uninstall it and install it fresh.

Filter the catalog

Use the category buttons — LynkSPhere, Google, Tools, Navigation, Video, Music — to find apps faster.
